|Chapter 47||Chapter 49|
Iel pulls Lidusis aside and casts a spell to bind the monsters. She yells at Lidusis, asking him why he pulled such a suicidal stunt. Lidusis thinks that if he died, everything might return to normal. Iel tells him that even if he dies, nothing will change and he would have just died a pointlessly death like Dio.
Observing the demons she trapped, she begin to think that they must be real since a net would not hold illusions. However, her net disappears since Iel is not experienced enough in using magic to sustain it. She blocks a couple of them with attack spells and a female student tells Iel that she was right. They have to fight since there is nowhere else to run. She then resolves that she came to Helios in order to be a magician. Iel addresses the other students, asking them if they plan on run away during situations like this one after they graduate.
Professor Heil, displeased by the inspirational speech, plans to destroy their morale. Before he can do so, the voice of the mastermind chimes in and orders him to hurry up. Professor Heil dismisses the monsters and awakens into [Venus] which turns his appearance into a demon's. He proclaims that he has surpassed the limits of humanity and starts debating on how he should kill them all. He makes the ground under Chevel crumble, sending him falling. However, Lidusis grabs Chevel's arm and saves him which shocks everyone who is present.
At the foot of the cliff, Elzeble lies in a crater laughing as he remembers Blow's power and how he told Elzeble to consider himself lucky since he needs to hurry. Elzeble declares that he indeed loves the human race and that now, it should be harder for "him" to get what he wants.
