Summary

Rood tells the crowd that the target is out of place and that they will have to choose a new one. He suggests that the klads be the ones to get hit. Manon, recovering from his shock, declares that Rood is the new target and that no matter what he does, he is alone.

Dio, still hidden from sight, starts panicking and decides to go help when Professor Rowell grabs his shirt collar from behind and drags him back into hiding. She holds a finger to her lips, indicating that he should be silent and watch the scene unfold.

Meanwhile, Rood knock out the Klads who desperately tried to grab hold of him. Frightened, the last one raises his hands and surrenders. Manon throws a mana stone at him from onstage but Lidusis suddenly steps in and blocks it with his body. The chapter ends with Manon commanding everyone to throw mana stones at the two, stating that they are the new targets.
